Those of you living in Enfield, CT, should feel a little more secure about leaving your vehicles parked outside now as a suspect has finally been caught regarding the recent string of thefts. Fingers crossed this is the right guy and your Mercedes rims are safe from thievery.

ENFIELD, CT – A Massachusetts man accused of stealing rims from a car in the southern end of Enfield was arrested early Thursday morning after engaging police in a pursuit on Interstate 91.

Jonathan Beltran, 26, of Holyoke, is charged with third-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit and operating without a license.

He was held on $15,000 bond, and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court. Continue Reading
