At $55,000 MSRP, the 2016 Cadillac CT6 feels like it is a little more midrange than the luxury label that the brand pushes, but that doesn’t detract in any way from how impressive the car really is. More so than any other feature the car offers, it’s the size that makes this sedan worth looking into.



If Cadillac was looking to make a big splash with this year’s CT6, they certainly made one. Not necessarily from what the car offers, but more along the lines of its huge size would literally make a huge splash in a pool of water. It’s interesting that all the press photos for the car are in downtown environments considering you’d never be able to parallel park this beast, much less ever find a spot that actually fits its massive length and girth.



It’s things like this why I stick to my Benz and fix my normal-human sized Mercedes interior should I ever have to.





For years, Cadillac was the car you bought when you wanted something big and prestigious – the “standard of the world,” as it billed itself.



But in recent years, other luxury brands, particularly those from Europe, have garnered “must-have” status for many buyers instead.



Now, Cadillac is in the middle of trying for a big comeback, literally, with their new big car, the 2016 CT6.



For its starting price of about $55,000, the CT6 offers plenty of luxury, plenty of space inside, and plenty of technology. A variety of available engines are offered, and there’s an important element for cars in this class: rear-wheel drive. Continue Reading
