NBA Hall of Famer Whacks Golf Ball into Mercedes







Pro Athletes Not Necessarily Good at Other Sports



It really does seem like golf is not the forte of former Chicago Bull Artis Gilmore who recently smashed someone’s windshield while playing a few rounds of golf.



Fortunately the owner of the Mercedes, which lost its windshield, had insurance and will have it replaced, but advises Artis that perhaps he should stick to basketball.





It seems NBA Hall of Famer ­Artis Gilmore is less accurate with a golf club than he was on the court.



We’re told that while on the links on Long Island with Nancy Shevell’s ex-husband, Hempstead Councilman Bruce Blakeman, the 7-foot-2 former Chicago Bulls center launched his golf ball through the window of a nearby Mercedes.



The vehicle turned out to belong to Butch Yamali, owner of local institution Peter’s Clam Bar. Continue Reading
